Yes, that exactly what it says. Under IV conscious sedation or local anesthesia, the infected or unrestorable teeth are extracted and dental implants are placed at the time of extraction. This saves several months for our patients so that the implants can be restored with teeth in a much shorted time, usually 4 months from the time of implant placement.
In the case of full arch restorations, the patient can usually leave the office with a fixed set of teeth. That would be “teeth in a day”.
