No insurance, No Problem!! We cater to patients with no insurance and have several financial options to help you receive the care you need, to get you back to your optimum oral health.
Our fees are related to the skill, time, judgment, and extensive experience of Dr. May and Dr. Mascarenhas to provide the best care for our patients. Our fees are not based on the patient’s insurance coverage (if any) or insurance companies UCR’s. We do not believe it is in the patient’s best interest to compromise the treatment necessary to return you to optimal health in order to accommodate an insurance programs arbitrary maximum benefit.
Please understand that your insurance coverage is a contract between you and your specific insurance and ultimately you are responsible for all fees for services rendered.
We currently are in network with Aetna, Ameritas, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, Humana, Metlife, Principal, United Concordia, United Healthcare. We will however accept all PPO insurances (but will be out of network) and will file paperwork on your behalf for your direct reimbursement. You are responsible for fees not paid by insurance in 60 days.
Due to the myriad number of insurances, we cannot be certain of any specific amount that will be reimbursed to you from your insurance company. While most patients prefer to schedule regardless of insurance coverage, we will, if you request, submit an estimate of treatment to your carrier before scheduling treatment. Your insurance company will then provide an estimate of what portion of the fee they may cover if there are available funds. Unfortunately, it could take four to six weeks or longer to receive an answer, which could result in a worsening of your disease.
Most treatment is time sensitive. This means, treatment needs to be completed in a relatively short time to prevent untreated areas from re-infecting treated areas.
We look forward to returning your oral health to the best level possible and do not want finances to be a barrier to treatment. In order to facilitate treatment for our patients, our office provides financing through Care Credit. If you wish to apply, our office will be happy to help with submitting paperwork for you.
